Canine Peace of Mind’s Dog Daycare with Training Program is designed for clients who enjoy the benefits of our board and train program, but prefer a more hands-on approach.
Dog owners are now able to hire a Canine Peace of Mind trainer to develop a customized training curriculum for your needs.
Dog Daycare with Training combines dog daycare with private lessons. Your dog will live and learn like our board and train dogs during the day but go home with you in the evening.
Our goal is to prevent you or your pup from getting overwhelmed and define clarity. This program is designed to provide you with less stress before your dog’s few behaviors escalate to real problems. Most issues are simply a result of mixed messages between human and dog.
A dog training mentor is available for questions during training if needed. Training can also continue with singular private lessons or additional four packs.
Some basic obedience is covered including sit, down, and come when called. However, our focus is to target behavior and situations that you come across in everyday situations.

In the first private lesson we meet with you and your dog to go over a game plan.
Daycare Day 1 gives us an opportunity to work with your dog before working with you. We take time to get to know your pup and introduce different training equipment to find what works best. Daycare Day 2 does not have to be the next day, but ideally in the same week.
Daycare Day 2 focuses on shaping behavior and begins work with basic distractions. During these daycare stays we are able to fit in the equivalence of four to five private sessions in one day. In contrast to our board and train programs, you still get to see them in the evening.
The second private lesson puts you in the driver’s seat with the training tools in your hands. This gives your pup a jumpstart to their training and the foundation needed to succeed.
